CARLab Alumni Conference----Rethinking Accounting in the Age of AI

On June 5, 2026,The Continuous Auditing and Reporting Lab (CARLab) hosted the 1st Rutgers Accounting PhD Program Alumni Conference at Rutgers Business School-Newark and online via Zoom. Bringing together an esteemed global network of Rutgers Accounting PhD Program graduates and visiting scholars, the inaugural event focused on the theme of "Rethinking Accounting Education in the Era of Generative AI".

The conference featured a dynamic series of research presentations and rapid-fire updates covering cutting-edge topics like data analytics, Generative AI use cases, and AI governance. Seamlessly blending in-person and virtual participation, this milestone gathering not only showcased the incredible academic achievements of our alumni community but also strengthened our global network.
