Since 1994, the Rutgers Accounting Web has been a hub for accounting research, hosting the American Accounting Association, the Academy of Accounting Historians, the Ph.D. Project, and the Government Accounting Standards Board.
Our AI research began in the early 1990s, producing a seven-volume series before the field slowed in 2005. Today, we lead in Continuous Auditing, Enhanced Business Reporting, and AI-driven research, including work with large language models and the real-time economy.
