PROGRAM Accounting YEAR 1st RESEARCH Financial Accounting ABOUT ME Jongkyum Kim [MS in Accounting (Indiana Univ.), MBA (Sogang Univ.), BA in Business Administration (Sogang Univ. / Seoul, Korea)] He has a broad research interest in financial accounting such as earnings management, analysts forecasts, and the role of accounting in capital market. Before joining the Ph.D. program of Rutgers, he taught Principles of Accounting, Intermediate Accounting, and Cost Accounting at Tongyang Technical College and Sungshin Women’s Univ. in Seoul, Korea. He has been playing traditional Korean percussion instruments, called janggu and kkwaenggwari, for about 15 years. He also very enjoys playing baseball, soccer and harmonica. He got married this June, and his wife is a professional pianist. |
