Initial posting--the discussion groups for performance measurement in government are open

We have taken to liberty of subscribing you to the new performance
measurement discussion groups at the GASB Performance Measurement for
Government Web Site.  If you know of others who should be subscribe please
let them know where to find the site and what it is meant to do.

There are three discussion groups initially:  (a) About Performance
Measurement for Government, (b) Developing and Choosing Performance
Measures, and (c) Using Performance Measures.  Other groups will be added as
a need is indicated.  

You are subscribed to all three groups so will actually receive three
messages, one for each group.

We hope there will be lots of good questions and even some appropriate and
useful answers.
