Title: Police Communications Center Info

The King County Auditor's Office (WA) is conducting a performance audit of the Sheriff's communications center and would like to know performance data related to:

1. Cost benefit of installing Mobile Data Terminals/Computers (MDT/MDC) in patrol vehicles.

2. Cost avoidance from accruing to use of MDT/MDCs.

3. Any performance data related to the use of MDT/MDCs.

4. Any performance data related to the percentage of "talk time" on air between dispatchers and patrol officers before and after installation of MDT/MCDs.

5. Any performance data related to communications between dispatchers and patrol cars in a system not using MDT/MDCs.
