10th WCAS Symposium Announcement

The 10th WCAS (World Continuous Audit Symposium) will be held at Rutgers Business School located at 190 University Avenue in Engelhard Hall in Newark, NJ on November 4th from 8:30am-5:00pm and November 5th from 8:30am-4:00pm. We will conduct the Symposium in our Bove Auditorium that seats 102 people.
 
Papers, presentations, and ideas for panels are being requested. Please submit materials to Dr. Miklos A. Vasarhelyi at miklosv@andromeda.rutgers.edu  or J. Donald Warren, Jr. at jdonwarren@rbsmail.rutgers.edu no later than September 15, 2005.

We will try to coordinate some play in Broadway. Last year we went to TKTS on the day of the play (Saturday) and bought tickets.

On the program we expect:

• a session on EBRC with a presentation from the Consortium
• several presentations about monitoring and control and continuous audit products
• company experiences with continuous audit
• a session on a proposed continuous audit trust service (CATS)
• continuous audit related software
• research papers
• a session on continuous reporting
• a session on control monitoring
• a session talking about solutions; CA & CCM

Early warning: The 11th WCAS (World Continuous Audit Symposium) will be held in Seville, Spain on March 17 & 18, 2006. The 12^th WCAS will be held at the University of Sao Paulo, Brasil on May 31 to June 2^nd 2006.
