RE: Beware the Epstein Message!!!

If I understand the workings of this worm, no one actually put an attachment
on an email and sent it to apmg. What happened was the worm infected the
user's pc and sent an email with the attachment to all those listed in the
user's email address book. This happens without the knowledge of the user.

I talked to Paul Epstein.  Message was sent in
error, and without his knowledge.  He is aware of
this, and is updating his virus definitions.

He did not send this file to APMG.  It was an
accident, and the result of a virus!

THE FILE, 3MDoc.PIF CONTAINS A WORM VIRUS!!!

DO NOT OPEN THE FILE!!!

I SUGGEST DELETING THE FILE, AND RUNNING A VIRUS
SCAN!!!  BUT FIRST, UPDATE YOUR VIRUS
DEFINITIONS, AND DO NOT OPEN ANY ATTACHMENTS TO
APMG!!!

NOTE: As a list, users should not be putting
attachments on APMG messages anyway.  This is a
big ethical no-no in the list world.  That is
your first hint that there is a virus at work!
