Bio: 

Divya joined Rutgers Business School in the Fall of 2009, after having received her Ph.D. in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Business. Divya teaches Introduction to Managerial Accounting at the undergraduate level in the Newark campus. Divya is interested in disclosure and corporate governance issues, with a specific focus on financial institutions and pension funds. Prior to joining Columbia University as a student, Divya worked as a financial controller in India and Botswana.
